Since the outbreak of the pandemic, the ISA Charitable Foundation has donated materials to various locations in China. Batches of disposal protective clothing and food have been sent to Hospitals urgently in need of supplies. We have tremendous respect for frontline workers and hope that our contributions can aid them in fighting this virus.

We care about all facets of our diverse community, and as a result the ISA Charitable Foundation has sponsored meals at the Guangzhou Charity Organisation’s ‘Canteen for the Elderly’ for three individuals, totalling RMB10,950. Each meal consists of a main dish, soup, and fruits. Seeing the enjoyment of participants in this excellent initiative was incredibly fulfilling.

The ISA Charitable Foundation provided RMB6,000 to be used as an internship fee for two students with disabilities, building a platform for these young people with disabilities to demonstrate their abilities and gain real workplace experience for subsequent employment in society.

Students from ISA schools participated in the 4th annual Beijing Road Charity Carnival. Our stall, in cooperation with Teching Company and Listen to Your Heart Company, held a charity sale and robot assembling competition. Children of 6-14 years old took part in the competitions, learning about technology and charity.

At the Winter Festival, ISA students and staff gathered to mobilise the strengths of our community to jointly organise events including a charity sale on the day of the celebration. Students are actively involved in the charity, crafting some wonderful and creative handicrafts for people to buy, with all money raised going to the ISA Charity Fund, enabling us to continue supporting those in need.

The ISA Charitable Foundation organised an “Eye of Science” fundraising event at the Guangdong Science and Technology Centre. During this event, the importance of instilling a curiosity and love in the next generation in Science and Technology related fields was emphasized, as sponsors and event participants spent the day touring the science museum.

Held in the Guangzhou Library, the students of ISA Tianhe performed a charity concert, raising money for Small House Charity and the ISA Medical Support Home. The theme of the show was ‘Spring Blossoms, Love in ISA’. Performances included a musical produced and directed by ISA Tianhe’s music teacher, Ms Mabel.

Through establishing an “ISA Home”, accommodation offered to impoverished families seeking medical treatment for their children, ISA Charitable Foundation has additionally funded one year’s rent for a three-bedroom apartment. The Home also offers a range of support to these families, including transitional accommodation, counselling, and rehabilitation.
